Hotel stay was excellent, decor lovely, very very clean, friendly & helpful staff. We had interconnecting rooms for our family which was super. Great holiday & will be back.

we recently stayed in the Carlton in Tralee,this was our first time and we will definitely will be back. From the receptionist to the Manger Anthony we were made feel very welcome.Our room was lovely with internet access!The food was delicious with one exception, our seven year old would reccomend less cheese on the pizza! thanks for a great stay, the Mahon family Kildare

we have just spent a relaxing weekend away with our 10month old baby in the carlton shearwater hotel, the hotel beautiful, food amazing and the staff was second to none, everyone from the receptionist ... karen, to the guy in the leisure centre (tall, dark haired guy) to all of the staff that served us in the bar throughout our stay were amazing, a hotel can only thrive on the quality of the staff it provides and the shearwater is at the top of its game in this category....thanks for a great weekend. We will be back in the near future ---

me and my boyfriend stayed here for a night in October they stay were so nice and friendly they couldn't have done more for us it was such a relaxing night away would recommend to a friend anytime everything was absolutely brilliant the hotel itself is the best I've stayed in, in a long time...

Have stayed here several times as we had our wedding reception here. Our big day was so special and the great staff all added to it. The food was amazing and our guests all had a great time. Many said ... they will be back. Every time we have stayed we have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, you don't feel like just another guest. Would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be back. ---

We had a lovely 3 night stay this week in your hotel. We had a fantastic break with our 2 year old, nothing was too much for your staff, they were very understanding towards children and nothing was too ... much for them. Rooms were perfect, great size and pool was lovely. Food fantastic, only one small negative thing, service was a bit slow in the restaurant/bar, when you have kids, time is of the essence but the quality of the food did make up for it. Thank you again for a lovely stay ---

Stayed for 2 nights with friends, a 1 yr old & two 3yr olds. Loads of space in the Family Room, great breakfast & even refused to charge for a baby bowl from the carvery, pool was a great hit. Can highly recommend for a break with small kids, great value too!

Just back from this fabulous hotel for our family summer holiday, we had such an amazing time, the staff were so friendly and helpful, they couldn't do enough for us during our stay. The family apartment ... was 1st class and allowed us the freedom to come and go as we pleased, and yet we always felt so important. The local knowledge the staff gave us really improved our holiday. We will definilty be back and will recommend this hotel to all our family with children and our friends. Thanks so much for making our staycation so so enjoyable.we really felt like we had a great break and came back so refreshed. Thanks to everyone there who made this possible! ---

I recently organised a class reunion in your hotel and I feel I have to put pen to paper. From my initial contact with your hotel, I could not get over the receptionists efficiency and friendliness. I ... was very concerned that we were doing the wrong thing by going to Athy as most people wanted the reunion in Dublin! I need not have worried at all. We had a great time thanks to all your staff!! The dinner was delicious and was served by Sami who never stopped for one minute during the whole evening! We will hopefully be back! ---
