Win a Wedding in a Carlton Hotel!

Posted: 2012-03-22 17:00:00 As much as many of you would have no doubt loved the weekend to have extended into Tuesday, many of our staff were just beginning their few days off with the extended weekend being a very busy one across the hotels.

The combination of St. Patrick’s Day on Saturday and Mother’s Day on Sunday ensured that all departments were busy from people drowning the shamrock to mum’s being treated in our various C-Spas.

I myself had a quite weekend taking in my local parade which continues to grow every year and is a testament to the local community.

One of the highlights of the Bank Holiday Monday was getting an opportunity to relax and watch a cinematic classic on TG4; “The War of the Buttons” made in Ireland in the early ‘90s, it stars one of our very own Carlton Staff. Carlton Shearwater Hotel Sales and Marketing Manager - Eveanna Ryan plays the lead female role of Marie. It was my first time to see the film and it’s definitely a must watch for audiences young and old, and I’m told it’s only recently been re-released on DVD.

On another note, there is major excitement building across the group with our Carlton Win a Wedding Competition coming to its penultimate stage, the competition will be closing on Friday week and we’ve had some great entries so please tell any newly engaged couples about the competition.

Hope everyone has a great weekend and don’t forget the Clocks go forward on Sunday at 2AM.
