That time of year again!

The first of December is here again and with it comes the official start of the Christmas celebrations. The radio stations were playing Christmas songs this morning and at the Carlton Group we’ve launched our Christmas voucher campaign. I know the group marketing team have been working on it for a few weeks but I spotted my first glimpse of it on a poster at the Carlton Hotel Dublin Airport yesterday and I must say it looks great. I also spotted it on TV3 this morning before work and I’m sure plenty of people were delighted to see we are offering an extra 10% free on all vouchers bought today. Our vouchers are usually very popular as a Christmas gift so I’m sure there’ll be plenty of them bought again this year!
We’ve had two spa launches in recent week and there will be another next week as the Carlton Shearwater Hotel are launching their new ‘Heather & Earth by C Spa’ on Monday the 5th of December. I didn’t make it to the launch of the new spa at the Carlton Hotel Tralee so I’m really hoping to make this one. The special guest on the night will be RTE’s Mary Kennedy, one of my fellow Rose of Tralee judges. It would be great to get the chance to catch up with her but I’ll just have to wait and see if I can fit it into my already packed schedule for next week.
I’ve a few meetings in Westport tomorrow so I’m heading over to the Carlton Atlantic Coast Hotel tonight and then back home for the weekend on Saturday. Hope you all enjoy whatever you get up to this weekend!
