Tipperary are All-Ireland Champions

Posted: 2010-09-06 10:00:00 What a day to be in Croke Park! Both the Minor and Senior Hurling matches yesterday were amazing to watch and the atmosphere at the stadium was even better. Kilkenny narrowly beat Clare to become All-Ireland Minor Hurling Champions, finishing the match on a two point lead.

Tipperary crushed Kilkenny’s dreams of the five in a row when they beat them by eight points to become All-Ireland Senior Hurling Champions. It really was a great match to watch and Tipp deserved to win as they were the better team on the day.

Another great event at the weekend was the Electric Picnic Festival in Laois. From the traffic on Friday evening it looked like there was a great turn out and from what I’ve heard it was an overall success again this year.

I’ve a busy week ahead of me as we’ve an exciting new project coming up which I can’t mention too much about at the moment but it will be great for the Carlton Hotel Group. I’ll fill you in on more details when I can!
