Carlton Shearwater's Birthday

Posted: 2010-08-10 00:00:00 What a weekend for Kilkenny GAA, winners in both the Minor and Senior hurling matches. I was really disappointed at Galway’s defeat as I thought they could do it this year but I must say well done to Kilkenny as they were on top form all weekend.

Galway may have lost the hurling match but there will still be plenty of celebrating in Ballinasloe! The Carlton Shearwater Hotel & Conference Centre are marking their third birthday on Thursday 12th August.

It’s been a great three years for the property and it has now established itself as one of the leading hotels in Galway. To celebrate their third birthday they are doing an amazing promotion on their accommodation rates and are selling rooms for only €33!

It’s almost time for the Rose of Tralee so I’ll be back later this week with more inside information on how the preparations are going.
