New Sponsorship

Posted: 2010-10-22 17:00:00 I’ve been fairly busy this week with meetings and as a result I spent most of the week based in head office at the Carlton Dublin Airport Hotel. However, I did get to take some time out of my day on Wednesday to take part in a photo shoot at the North Kildare Rugby pitch near Maynooth.

The photo shoot was arranged to launch the new North Kildare Rugby team jersey and as the Carlton Hotel Group are now the official sponsors I was asked to be involved. I was joined on the shoot by Rose of Tralee Clare Kamembattu, President of the Rugby club Paul Mooney and Team Captain Alan Brannigan. Clare did a great job modelling the new jersey and it was nice to get the chance to catch up with her again.

On Thursday evening I headed over to the Citywest Hotel to attend the Entrepreneur of the Year event and it was a great night. Quite a late one too I must admit so it was just as well I’d booked a room and didn’t have to travel home! This weekend I want to try make it down to Cork as the Jazz Festival is on and this year promises to be the best ever. There are around 1,000 musicians playing throughout the city so there’s bound to be something I like! If I do head down I’ll most likely spend the night at the Carlton Kinsale Hotel as there is also a Kinsale Fringe Jazz Festival on so there will be plenty on around the town.
