Happy New Year

I’d like to begin by wishing you a very happy New Year and I hope you all enjoyed the Christmas break. I know the weather affected a lot of travel plans for Christmas and even though we had a white Christmas I don’t think anyone was too excited about it!

In fact because of the snow the Carlton Hotel Dublin Airport opened its doors on Christmas day to accommodate the stranded passengers at the airport. I must admit it was a first for me as I have never worked on Christmas day but it was all hands on deck in the hotel as we tried to give the guests the perfect day despite the odds. We went all festive in the hotel by offering a full Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, a carol singing competition and even a visit from Santa. Thankfully it ended up being a great success and from the feedback we’ve received everyone enjoyed their Christmas at the Carlton Dublin Airport.

Although we were able to accommodate some of the stranded passengers I know that there were many more people sent home as their travel plans were ruined. I hope you all had a great Christmas despite the change of plans but for those of you that did miss your holiday we would like to help you get away with our exclusive January sale.
