Mini Explorers Halloween Breaks

Posted: 2012-10-12 15:00:00 I spend a lot of my time travelling around the country, attending meetings and visiting our hotels, so when I get to spend a few days in my office at the Carlton Dublin Airport I always take the opportunity to catch up with our sales and marketing team. This week their focus was on pushing family breaks for the busy Halloween period, as well as promoting the popular Mini Explorers Kids Clubs'.

The Mini Explorers Club was launched earlier this year and was very popular with parents because the club has a strong healthy eating and exercising ethos with the emphasis being on mostly outdoors activities. Of course with the weather we can expect to have over the Halloween mid-term there might not be much opportunity for outdoor activities but there will still be plenty more fun, healthy activities going on. With the kids club running right up to 9.30pm in some hotels, it gives parents the chance to enjoy a romantic meal or just time to relax while their children are being well looked after. I also overheard some of our team mentioning the big ‘C’ word this week but don’t worry I’ll leave it a few weeks before I start talking about our Christmas plans!

In sporting news this week the focus is on the World Cup qualifiers and in particular, Ireland’s game against Germany tonight. There is no doubt that the boys in green have a tough game ahead of them but I’m sure they’ll give it their best and if the Euros are anything to go by they’ll definitely have the winning fans!
