It was a short week for me this week with Bank Holiday Easter Monday, not for the hotel’s though as it was a very busy week across the properties with plenty of families enjoying the Easter break.

This week I had a very pressing engagement, I had to attend the (IGTOA) Irish Golf Tour Operators Association’s annual outing in Kinsale, this is a very important event for us as a Hotel Group as these tour operators bring in golfing groups from all over the world to come play our magnificent courses and they are a major benefit to tourism in Ireland. This year we also had the honour of hosting their Lunch Event in the Carlton Hotel Kinsale which was a great success and most enjoyable, and a great credit to Anne-Marie and her team in the Kinsale.

On a final not it was great to see Leinster winning their semi-final on Saturday but to a greater extent Ulster qualifying to play a home Semi Final at the end of April was excellent and there’s a very strong chance they could go all the way.
