Corporate Night in Dublin - By Guest Blogger Aoife Smyth
There has been a lot happening in the Carlton Hotel Dublin Airport since I spoke to you last. Firstly we are delighted to welcome our new sous chef, Kenneth Olivarius, who joins us from Harvest Grill and Tapas House in Longford. With his training in the Art Institute of New York City, Kenneth already impresses us with his enthusiasm and innovation in the kitchen. Watch out for some new delicious dishes in Kittyhawks Bistro!
Last Thursday saw our first corporate night of 2013. Corporate clients from across the capital joined us as we brought some of sunny Spain to the hotel for our Latin Sensation Night. The evening kicked off with refreshing Mojitos, Sangria and delicious Spanish tapas food prepared by Kenneth. After being wined and dined, guests then enjoyed entertainment from Salsa Sensation, who wowed us with a fantastic Salsa display followed by fun Salsa classes. Everyone including ourselves had a great night and it was lovely to switch out of work mood and just enjoy the company of our clients.
We are also pleased to announce that this summer will be the first summer that Carlton Hotel Dublin Airport facilitates the Mini Explorer’s Kids Club. Whether stopping off here before flying abroad, availing of one of our family getaway packages or just popping in for a meal, the Mini Explorers Club will be available to you. Preparations are already underway for the launch in June and we are all very excited to begin our mini adventures.
Finally, being an Offaly woman, I can’t sign off without wishing Tullamore RFC the very best of luck as they play Longford in the Provincial Town’s Cup Final this Sunday!
Whatever you get up to this weekend have a lovely time.
