That time of year again already?

Posted: 2012-11-16 17:00:00 I must start by mentioning the Ireland V South Africa rugby game at the Aviva last Saturday afternoon and despite a strong performance by the home team, it unfortunately wasn’t enough to win. Ireland were the stronger team in the first half and were nine points ahead going into half time. But South Africa came back fighting in the second half and eventually beat Ireland 16 points to 12. Despite missing many of their key players due to injury, Ireland played a good game and will hopefully be victorious in their next match.

In Carlton news this week there has been plenty going on as per usual these days! The hotels are in full swing preparing for their Christmas party nights which from what I hear are filling up fast so if you’ve yet to book yours make sure to check our website for details. It’s hard to believe that it’s nearly the start of the Christmas party season, which is probably something I say every year around this time! Along with being busy taking Christmas party bookings we have also just launched this year’s Christmas voucher campaign so we’re all about Christmas at the moment! I know some of you will hide away from all mentions of Christmas until December but we have to start early to keep up with the demand. Even at that we’re a bit slower than some because from what I hear some people start their Christmas shopping in September. My guess is most people are a bit more last minute like me though!

Have a great weekend whatever you get up to and here’s hoping the weather stays dry!
