It’s been another busy week at Carlton head office for us all as we make plans for the coming year. We’re looking forward to the opportunities and challenges ahead of us this year and with the work we’ve completed over the last few weeks we’ve certainly planned for every eventuality. Although we’ve been busy we’ve managed to take some time out to try our luck at becoming TV game show winners this evening!
We at the Carlton group have dipped our toes into the crazy world of Entertainment and will be appearing on RTÉ Television's new series 'Who Knows Ireland Best?' tonight at 8:30pm. Sophia Weir, Director of Spa Operations, Declan Meagher, General Manager of the Carlton Dublin Airport Hotel, and myself will all take part in the new game show tonight on RTÉ 1. We are up against a team of tattoo artists in a bid to find out who knows Ireland best. If we win we are going to celeb rate by offering an exclusive sale of 500 rooms for just €40! Make sure to tune into RTÉ 1 tonight to find out if we win!
There were other winners this week as I was delighted to read in the Independent that one of my favourite golf courses, the Bunclody Golf and Fishing Club, were voted the 21st best parkland golf course in Ireland for 2012 by Bakspin Irish Course Ranking. The Bunclody Club is located across from the Carlton Millrace Hotel and I try get in game in whenever I’m down at the hotel.
