Mini Explorers on an Adventure
I normally wait until the end of the week for my blog post but so much happened over the long weekend that I thought it best to fill you in now. As I mentioned on Friday our Sales & Marketing team were out in Dublin Zoo and Fota Wildlife Park at the weekend promoting our Mini Explorers family breaks for the Summer. Although the weather was a bit temperamental over the weekend there was still a great turn out at both attractions and our Mini Explorers team were kept busy all weekend. Along with the goodies on the day, there were also competitions for family breaks in Carlton Hotels. The winners have yet to be announced so if you’ve entered, best of luck you could still be in with a chance!
We got great feedback from the parents on our children’s club because we focus on healthy eating and outdoor activities. From what I’ve heard there was a lot of interest in our Mini Explorer’s Break which includes a family activity so I’m sure there will be plenty of those packages booked over the next few days. All in all the weekend was a great success and it really helped gain awareness of our Mini Explorers Club and what we offer for families in our hotels.
Also at the weekend there were a few celebrities staying in the Carlton Millrace Hotel over the weekend. The world famous rock band Status Quo were in the hotel on Friday night as they were playing in a festival in Enniscorthy, I’m sure there were a few fans in the hotel bar that night. Also on Friday the hotel accommodated celebrity gardener Dermot O’Neill who travelled to the hotel with a gardening group.
I’ll be back with my usual weekly post on Friday, until then hope you all enjoy the short week!
